Project Overview: South Seattle Flat Roof Replacement

Located near Seward Park, this South Seattle home needed a complete low-slope roof upgrade. The existing hot tar roof was failing, and the decking beneath had rotted in places. The Pinnacle Roofing crew stripped the old roofing, repaired the damaged wood, and installed new fascia boards to create a solid, straight foundation. We then added a high-R poly-iso insulation layer to improve the home’s thermal performance and finished the system with a heat-welded 50 mil white IB PVC membrane. Custom CrystaLite skylights were framed in and flashed as part of the waterproofing system.
