July 2, 2019This is a Edmonds roof project we started last week in Edmonds where we will be installing a new 24-gauge Standing Seam Metal Roof by Nu-Ray Metals. The owner chose the Series 2000 mechanically seamed panel with butyl injected into the seams at the factory to ensure a water tight roof system. Due to the location of the home, sitting so close to the Puget Sound, they chose the Premium Kynar Ocean Guard paint system as well. The flat roof assembly consists of a Poly-ISO tapered system to achieve a 1/4-inch per foot of slope with a Dens Deck covered board and a 80 mil. PVC membrane by IB Roof Systems. Check back for final photos as the project progresses.
