Kirkland Composition Reroof Project
Pinnacle Roofing Professionals completed this composition reroof project in Kirkland, Washington. The work included converting a built-in gutter system to a traditional seamless gutter system, installing new 5/4×6 fascia and new 1/2″ CDX plywood, and finishing the roof with CertainTeed Landmark PRO shingles in Moire Black over Diamond Decking synthetic underlayment, topped with high-profile Mountain Ridge ridge caps. We also poured a new rebar-reinforced chimney crown with new counter flashing.
Project Scope Details
- Gutter conversion: Replaced built-in gutters with a traditional seamless gutter system for better drainage and reduced maintenance.
- Fascia and decking: Installed new 5/4×6 fascia boards and 1/2″ CDX plywood roof decking for a solid, code-compliant substrate.
- Underlayment: Applied Diamond Decking synthetic underlayment for a secondary water barrier beneath the shingles.
- Shingles and ridge caps: Installed CertainTeed Landmark PRO shingles in Moire Black with high-profile Mountain Ridge ridge caps.
- Chimney work: Poured a new rebar-reinforced chimney crown and installed new counter flashing.
